Helen Ling and Bob Caffrey Honored by Business Association

SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Helen Ling, owner of Enchantments (234 South Ave. in Fanwood) was honored along with Bob Caffrey of Caffrey's Tree Service at the 19th Annual Spring Fling presented by the Scotch Plains Business & Professional Association (BPA) and the Fanwood Business & Professional Association on Thursday, Apr. 24, 2014.

Ling founded Enchantments, a unique craft store featuring handmade jewelry and gifts, in 1989 and will celebrate her 25 years in Fanwood in September.  

Caffrey Tree & Landscape is owned and operated by Bob Caffrey and has been in business since 1978.  Services include tree pruning, removal, stump grinding, landscaping, lawn and other services.

"Bob Caffrey is that unique businessman and person who built and continues to build and grow his company one customer at a time, he is a hands on professional who has never lost sight of the importance of customer service and community," said Scotch Plains Mayor Kevin Glover.  "He is best exemplified by his work on restoring our Township following the havoc of Super Storm Sandy, and by his ongoing generosity in helping local charities and community groups in need."

Proceeds from the event benefit the Scotch Plains BPA Scholarship Fund.
