SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Highland Swim Club (1235 Martine Avenue, Scotch Plains) will host its second annual Swim-A-Palooza fundraiser on June 25 from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. to benefit RESOLVE Community Counseling Center in Scotch Plains.

RESOLVE is a private, non-profit community mental health center serving children, adults and families of Union County for over 40 years. Because RESOLVE is a non-profit organization, fundraising becomes essential to sustain its counseling to all clients regardless of their ability to pay for mental health services, and more specifically, to help those who need to pay on a sliding scale based on their income.

Members and guests are encouraged to participate in this fun way to kick off the summer and give back to the community by swimming lengths of the pool. Swimmers have a two hour period to swim as many laps as the can and have supporters pledge money per lap.

Supporters can register their sponsorships here. Swimmers who raise $25 or more will receive a commemorative Swim-A-Palooza towel.

There is a $5 fee to participate for non-members of Highland. Rain date Sunday July 9.
