WESTFIELD, NJ -- Patrick Blowe, a current 8th grader at Holy Trinity School, has been named the HTS Outstanding Graduate for 2016. The award is given to one student who represents the purpose and values of Catholic education.

Principal Sister Maureen Fichner, S.S.J. said, "Patrick is a credit to the Catholic education that Holy Trinity strives to provide."

Mrs. Jacqueline Pantano added: "Patrick was selected for this award due to his success in academics and his ability to actively demonstrate the multiple Catholic values we try to instill in all our students. These include kindness towards others, helping others without the thought of reward, and standing up for those in need."

Patrick will join other Catholic school Outstanding Graduates at an Archdicesan Celebration on April 30th at the Kearny CYO Retreat Center. After graduating from Holy Trinity School this June, Patrick will attend the Academy for Information Technology, part of the Union County Vocational Technical School system, located in Scotch Plains.

Holy Trinity School (336 1st St, Westfield) is a 2011 National Blue Ribbon School. Its mission is to educate students to actualize their full, individual potential both spiritually and academically, while adhering to the tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
