WESTFIELD, NJ -- Holy Trinity School teachers are embracing mindfulness through a special faculty-focused yoga program sponsored by the Holy Trinity Blue & Gold Foundation.

Based on a campaign at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center that focuses on "care for the caregiver" to relieve stress, the Foundation introduced this opportunity to "care for the teacher" in a new and innovative way. Over six weeks, Mary Roth, a local certified yoga instructor from the Yoga and Healing Center in Scotch Plains, guided teachers in their practice.

"It was THE BEST gift ever! For us, individually and as a staff, the ripple effect to home and school was awesome,” said third grade teacher Laura Gribbin.
