SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ – Local art dealer Evelyne Pinkus of E. Pinkus Fine Art, presented local artist Marcel Truppa in a gallery networking event hosted by Garden State Securities and sponsored by the Scotch Plains/Fanwood Edition of The Alternative Press on Thursday, September 13  from 5 to 7 pm. Proceeds from the evening were donated to Community Hope for their Homeless Veteran’s Program.

Over 60 guests attended to enjoy the artwork, the networking and the amazing food donated by The Stage House, Grillestone, Flannery’s Pub, John’s Meat Market, Florence Ravioli,and  Deliverynow.

“It really was an amazing evening and we are truly thankful to The Alternative Press, Evelyn Pinkus, the artist Marcel Truppa and Todd Smith of Royce Capital for putting this evening together,” said Julia Ahmet, Vice President of Development for Community Hope.  Community Hope provides transitional housing and various programs for veterans.

“I think it was truly fitting to have Marcel Truppa’s work on display at this event,” said Evelyn Pinkus, “considering that he is a veteran of World War II.”
