UNION COUNTY, NJ -- There is a lot of misinformation going around about how and when New Jersey will vote this year. All registered voters will receive a Vote by Mail Ballot. The County Clerk must have them in the mail by October 5, so if you're already registered, you should receive it by the end of the week of Oct. 5.
How do you return your ballot? There are several options available.
- By mail, in a secure County dropbox,
- Bring it to a polling site and handing it in.
- Voters can also vote in person via provisional ballot.
Not registered to vote? New Jersey has online voter registration for the first time! Request a form from the County Clerk's office here. Either way, be sure to register by Oct. 13.
