SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Instant Pot – a programmable pressure cooker – is the latest kitchen trend!
Whether you have one already but aren’t sure how to make the most of it, or you’re just curious if it lives up to the hype, this April 19th event at Scotch Plains Public Library is for you.
Food blogger Valerie Gray (From Val’s Kitchen) will show us how to make three different dishes with the Instant Pot. We’ll be doing some prep, some watching, and some tasting!
On the menu (subject to change):
- Vegetable soup
- Mashed potatoes
This workshop is for adults only, and will run from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Teens interested in whipping up some instant pot recipes can register for the Teen Instant Pot workshop to be held by Ms. Gray earlier that day, from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
For more information or to register for either workshop, go to www.scotlib.org, email email@example.com, call (908) 322-5007 x 204 or stop by the Reference Desk. The Scotch Plains Library is located at 1927 Bartle Avenue, one block from Park Avenue in the center of town.
