Instant Pot Cookery: 9 Things You Need to Know, 3 Recipes You Will Enjoy

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Instant Pot – a programmable pressure cooker – is the latest kitchen trend! 

Whether you have one already but aren’t sure how to make the most of it, or you’re just curious if it lives up to the hype, this April 19th event at Scotch Plains Public Library is for you.

Food blogger Valerie Gray (From Val’s Kitchen) will show us how to make three different dishes with the Instant Pot.  We’ll be doing some prep, some watching, and some tasting!

On the menu (subject to change):

  • Vegetable soup
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Dessert

This workshop is for adults only, and will run from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Teens interested in whipping up some instant pot recipes can register for the Teen Instant Pot workshop to be held by Ms. Gray earlier that day, from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
