The Moms Helping Moms Foundation held its 3rd Annual Snow Ball Gala on Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Shackamaxon Country Club in Scotch Plains.  Moms Helping Moms provides low income families with baby essentials like diapers, wipes, and clothing. The Foundation partners with social workers and other local organizations in New Jersey to assist thousands of families.

“In partnership with Shackamaxon, Summit Soundz, Aspen Leaf Photography, as well as the help of our dedicated volunteers and staff, our goal was to put together not just another fundraiser but rather a fun-filled celebration of all we have achieved to date,” said Lorraine Dias-Sotiriou, Moms Helping Moms Board Member.   The evening featured delicious food, drinks, comic photo booth moments, and lots of dancing.  Many of the attendees went home with prizes and winnings from raffle prizes, silent auction items and a collector’s worthy wine chest.

Joanne Goldblum, the founder and CEO of the National Diaper Bank Network, the honoree for the night, provided an overview of why organizations like Moms Helping Moms Foundation are so critical to fill the diaper gap in New Jersey.

Moms Helping Moms would also like to thanks its Gold and Silver Sponsors for their support of the Snow Ball which included local businesses: D’Amico Landscaping, Investors Bank, and McCusker Anselmi, Rosen & Carvelli, P.C.

Moms Helping Moms Foundation next event is the New Jersey Marathon, Sunday, April 30th.  Runners are welcome to become part of this charity team for the full, half marathon and 5K.
