SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The JCC of Central New Jersey (1391 Martine Ave., Scotch Plains) has three competitive swim programs. The Barracudas (ages 6 - 18) are the most competitive team; the Mini-Barracudas (ages 5 - 8) introduces children to the swim team program, and the IntraCudas (ages 8 - 18) is the intramural program.
On Thursday, July 27 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., the JCC will host “Meet the Coaches” night for all in the community who are interested in any of its swim teams. Barracudas’ Head Coach Laura Bransky will be available to talk about all three programs. Anyone new to the JCC, can also get a tour of the facility and learn about all membership options and benefits.
The Barracudas are beginning their 20th season competing in the New Jersey JCC-YMHA Swim League.
