SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Union Catholic track star Elijah Brown is this week's Joint Motion Physical Therapy Athlete of the Week for his performances at the New Balance Nationals in New York City.

The sophomore ran on three relays this past weekend at the New Balance Nationals, including two relays that earned All-American status.
 
Brown ran on the second place mixed 4x400 relay, the fifth place boys 4x400 relay, and he ran the 400 leg on the 10th place sprint medley relay.
 

Union Catholic head coach Mike McCabe was impressed with what his star sprinter accomplished.

“Elijah had three terrific races,’’ said McCabe. “His energy and enthusiasm were key to the success of the team.’’
