The golf team had another outstanding performance at Counties, which was held at Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield. Jimmy Bagdonas (74), Louie Daniele (75), Sam Colao (77), and Jared Bloom (80) combined for a team score of 308, the lowest SPF has ever shot at Counties. The team was part of a record-breaking field, and they placed in second place by 3 shots to a UCIAC record 305 shot by Westfield. Bagdonas’ 3 over par 74 put him in a playoff for first place, and he won after one playoff hole to become only the fourth UCIAC individual champion in school history.

The team then had their best performance of the year when they won the North 2 Group 3 Sectional Championship with a score of 303 at Darlington Golf Course. Jared Bloom (70) placed second individually, Louie Daniele (75) placed 6th, Sam Colao (77) placed 9th, and Jimmy Bagdonas (81) placed 15th. A 303 was enough to send the team to the State Championship (TOCs), and was also the lowest sectional score by an SPF team ever.

The team then headed to the Tournament of Champions at Hopewell Valley Golf Club. The team recorded a 321, placing 7th in the state and 3rd place in their group. Louie Daniele (75) placed 5th in Group 3 individually.

Finishing with a 13-3 record in 9 hole matches, SPF held a record breaking year with 2 tournament titles, 2 school record-low tournament scores, a Union County individual champion, and their first TOC appearance as a team in 4 years. Louie Daniele and Jimmy Bagdonas earned 1st Team All-Conference and All-County, and Sam Colao earned 1st Team All County.
