WESTFIELD, NJ — Women: Got business attire that you no longer wear? Drop it off at the Keller Williams Realty office in Downtown Westfield through the end of February and they’ll donate it to the Career Closet, a division of the Junior League of Elizabeth Plainfield that provides professional clothing to low-income women at no charge.
Women are referred to Career Closet by community agencies after they have successfully completed job training and/or readiness programs. The goal is to help these women increase their self-esteem and self-sufficiency.
“If your closet is overcrowded with business clothes that you don’t use, this is a great way to donate them to a good cause,” said Jeni DiVirgilio, a KW Westfield real estate agent and active member of the Junior League of Elizabeth-Plainfield.
Bring blouses, sweaters, pants, skirts, suites, shoes, belts, scarves, handbags and briefcases to Keller Williams at 188 Elm Street in Westfield. A donation rack is available by the rear entrance.
