FANWOOD, NJ -- The 6th annual Ladies Night Out in Fanwood kicked off at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, with dozens of women lined up to register and pick up a goody bag filled with coupons for local businesses and tickets to win prizes at a tricky tray raffle.

Sponsored this year by the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce which represents Fanwood businesses, the event featured virtually all of Fanwood’s downtown businesses plus some visiting ones. Ladies Night Out attracted 250 participants from Fanwood, Scotch Plains, Old Bridge, Maplewood, and even New York City.

"People from out of town told me they came back again this year because they had so much fun last year," Fanwood Business Development consultant Liz Jeffery, who helped organize the event.
