SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -  The last concert of summer will be presented on Thursday evening by the Scotch Plains Cultural Arts Council.  All summer, residents have been enjoying a variety of performances given on the stage at the Alan Augustine Village Green located at the side of the Municipal Building on 430 Park Ave.

Tomorrow’s performance will feature RB Express and the Dell Angels and will begin at 6:;30 pm.  These bands will bring back the music of the 50’s and 60’s for a “doo wop” evening of family fun and enjoyment.

“In addition to enjoying the music, families can come visit our sponsors for giveaways and visit our food vendors as well,” said Stephen Dahl, Recreation Supervisor for Scotch Plains.

Over the summer, the Cultural Arts Council’s free concerts in the park have been drawing between 200 and 300 residents.
