FLANDERS, NJ -- The Raiders boys lacrosse team's exciting season came to an end on Wednesday with a 15-9 loss to No. 3 seed Mount Olive in the semifinals of the North jersey, Group 3 State tournament in Flanders.

The Raiders entered half-time knotted at 6-6 and at one time led the contest. However, Mount Olive dominated the second half, led by Jackson Tilves, who scored a total of seven goals and Lucas O'Keeffe who tallied four goals with two assists.

Noah Costanzo had three goals and Aidan Guma and Anthony Porter each added a pair of goals with two assists to lead Scotch Plains-Fanwood. Jack Brady, who became the Raiders all-time leading scorer earlier in the week, scored a goal and recorded an assist in his final game. Tommy Nakonechny also notched a score.

Yanni Kalas made14 saves for Mount Olive. Tom Bruckman had 9 saves for the Raiders. 

Mount Olive advances to Saturday's final vs. top-seeded Northern Highlands.
