Mayor Elect Glover says Thank you and Promises to Work to Restore

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -  Scotch Plains Councilman Kevin Glover, who was elected Mayor on November 6th, 2012, today thanked the many Scotch Plains voters who supported him and his running mate, Councilwoman-elect Colleen Gialanella.

"Right now, nothing's more important than getting the power back on for our many residents who have suffered in darkness with no heat for more than ten days," said Glover.

The Mayor-elect thanked the Township's Public Works Department, Police Department, Fire Department and Rescue Squad for their service before, during and after the storm.

"Colleen and I are committed to a bi-partisan approach to solving Scotch Plains' problems," he said. "I don't believe any one person or party has all the answers. We look forward to working with all our elected leaders in moving our great community forward."

Lou Beckerman, Chairman
Scotch Plains Democratic Committee
