SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Scotch Plains Mayor Al Smith, Township Manager Al Mirabella, Deputy Mayor Llewellyn Jones and Councilman Ted Spera cut the ribbon for the official opening of Red, White & Que Smokeshack on Route 22 West next to Bowcraft.

The eatery has done brisk business selling smoked brisket, pulled pork, BBQ chicken and mac & cheese for the past several weeks. Meats are smoked daily on site.

“We are living the American dream and look forward to welcoming people to join in our celebration,” said owner Dan Misuraca. “After serving our country in the United States Marine Corp, we now get to serve family, friends and even give back to our military’s veterans through our Pay It Forward program.”
