Middle School Softball Tryouts Take Place on Friday, Feb. 10


SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Middle School Softball tryouts take place on Friday, Feb. 10. Team will consist of 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls from our Middle Schools. The softball program is sponsored by the Scotch Plains PAL. 

Date: Friday, Feb. 10, 2017
Location: Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School (Old Gym)
Check in: 6:30 p.m.
Warm-up: 7:00 - 7:15 p.m.
Tryouts Begin at 7:20 p.m. 

Players are required to provide their own transportation to home and away games as well as being available for after-school practices during the season.

There will be a $175.00 fee for those who make the team. The season will consist of approximately 16 weekday games, most of which begin at 4:00 p.m. Any athlete who attends tryouts must be able to commit to at least 14 of the 16 games. Practices are mandatory and will be held at the rate of 2-3 times a week beginning in March.
