Morano Gelato Will Hold Grand Opening in Westfield on Thurs, June 8

WESTFIELD, NJ -- Morano Gelato, called “the Best Gelato in America” by Forbes, will host a Grand Opening celebration on Thursday, June 8, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The party will feature as live entertainment an accordion player and a mime, a ribbon cutting by Westfield Mayor Andy Skibitsky, giveaways and samples.

The locally-owned shop, located at 116 Elm Street in downtown Westfield, will serve authentic Sicilian gelato in a variety of flavors, made each morning from Italian and local ingredients that are fresh and in-season, along with other Italian treats and beverages.

All are welcome to stop in and discover the authentic, Morano Gelato difference. Morano Gelato is open 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday; 11 am to 10 pm on Friday and Saturday.

The Westfield shop is the company’s first franchise, joining the flagship shop in Hanover, NH, and the company-owned shop in Chestnut Hill, MA. It is owned and operated by Maurice Dayan.
