Music, Comedy and More at FCC Cabaret Night
The popular cabaret fundraiser “October Surprise” returns to First Congregational Church (FCC) on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 7:00 p.m. in Patton Auditorium at 125 Elmer Street in Westfield. The evening features a lively revue of show tunes and comedy under the direction of award-winning cabaret pianist Joe Regan. Light refreshments, dessert and coffee/tea will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
Featured performers include a roster of cabaret and theatre performers, as well as talented amateur singers from the FCC family.
Joe Regan is a professional pianist/singer who performs at piano bars and cabaret rooms throughout the metropolitan area. He can currently be seen at Don’t Tell Mama every Tuesday in Manhattan, at GP’s Hamilton Park in Jersey City on Fridays and at 16 Prospect in Westfield on Thursdays and Sundays.
First hosted by the FCC in 2003, “October Surprise” has become an eagerly-awaited annual event. Admission is free and raffle tickets will be sold for a chance to win several themed gift baskets. All proceeds benefit the church’s various ministries.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Seating is limited and reservations are suggested. Call the church office at 908-233-2494 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your seat. For additional information, visit fccofwestfield.org.
