Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurship is now accepting nominations of family-owned firms for consideration in the 2012 New Jersey Family Business of the Year Awards.

Celebrating its 20th Anniversary, the New Jersey Family Business of the Year Awards recognizes family firms that best exemplify strong business acumen, active family engagement, innovation and community involvement. The finalists are then awarded during a luncheon in October.

The awards program, sponsored by the Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurship at Fairleigh Dickinson University, PNC Bank, and New Jersey Monthly magazine, represents the only statewide effort to specifically honor family-owned companies for their significant role in the economy and contributions to the community. Winners of the National Family Business of the Year Competition will be featured in New Jersey Monthly magazine.
