SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Union County Clerk Joanne Rajoppi will return to the Scotch Plains Public Library to discuss her newly published book, Northern Women in the Aftermath of the Civil War on Thursday, March 30, at 7:00 p.m.
This book chronicles the lives of the wives and daughters of the Brunswick Boys (the subject of her previous book, New Brunswick in the Civil War: The Brunswick Boys and the Great Rebellion) and their struggles to cope with disabled or missing husbands and sons who fought in the war.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase and to be signed. Registration is highly recommended.
