PAL Cobras Fast Pitch Softball Tryouts to be Held Sunday May 15


SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — The PAL Cobras Fastpitch Softball Team will hold tryouts for its summer league on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School.

The Cobras, who play in the Parkway Invitational Softball League, are a competitive team facing teams from Union, Middlesex, Morris, and Somerset Counties. The ten game regular season starts in mid-June and goes through late July with 2-3 games per week.

  • 12U Tryouts - 12:00 p.m.
  • 10U Tryouts - 2:00 p.m.
  • 8 Tryouts - 4:00 p.m.
  • Make-up Tryouts on Monday, May 16 at 6:00 p.m.

PAL Cobras Fastpitch softball has been dedicated to teaching fastpitch softball to young women for over 20 years. The goals are to develop basic skills, improve fundamental movement, teach strategies, promote critical thinking and help prepare players for high school softball. Most importantly they place an emphasis on teamwork, responsibility and sportsmanship.
