Paper Mill Concert to Feature Young Performing Artists

SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ – Over 120 of New Jersey's most talented young performing artists from Paper Mill Playhouse's Summer Music Conservatory will be performing a concert titled New Voices of 2013: Swing Awakening on Friday August 2nd at 7:30PM and Saturday August 3rd at 1:30PM and 7:30PM at the Paper Mill Playhouse located on 22 Brookside Drive in Millburn, NJ.

Out of the 120 performers, 3 of them include Fanwood resident Sarah Zitofsky and Scotch Plains residents John DeMarco and Paris Mercurio. Many of these performers have gone onto perform on Broadway and in film, television, and regional theatre.

"From the first day of class all the way through opening night of New Voices, we require our students to rise to the demands of this rigorous program" said Lisa Cooney, Paper Mill's Director of Education. "We ask them to work harder than they ever have before as young performers, and we strive to build an incredible ensemble company, while each student hones their own individual performance skills".
