PLAINFIELD, NJ — Queen City Coffee Roasters will be hosting a celebration this Sunday for its one-year anniversary. Despite 2020 being a wild ride for everyone everywhere, the coffee shop has found ways to persevere through the tough times, and continue its intended mission in helping the revitalization of Plainfield’s downtown.
Since opening a year ago, Queen City Coffee Roasters has expanded its coffee menu (try the Spanish Latte and the Spice Maple Latte), continued to sell its coffee online, and built partnerships with local businesses.
Some of these partnerships include notable businesses like Hatch 44 Café in Metuchen (www.hatch44cafe.com), American Bean Coffee in Watchung (www.americanbeancoffee.com), and Sugamama in Clifton (www.sugamamabakeshop.com).
The company has also continued to build its ecommerce platform, selling to thousands of customers online.
On Sunday, Nov. 1, stop by to show some love and enjoy various artists who will be performing outside between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. And as a special treat, Glazed & Confused (www.minidonutsnyc.com) will have its truck in front of the shop to give out FREE DOUGHNUTS with every cup of coffee bought. Masks and social distancing rules will be practiced.
Queen City Coffee Roasters sources and roasts its own beans in house, and offers mobile ordering, curbside pickup, outdoor seating, limited indoor seating, and online shipping straight to your doorstep. It is located at 200 Court Place in Plainfield. For more information, visit https://queencitycoffeeroasters.com, and follow them on Facebook and Instagram @queencitycoffeeroasters.
