FANWOOD, NJ --  Fanwood police responded to a report of a home invasion robbery on Farley Avenue on Thursday evening, July 13.
At 8:52 p.m., a dark black male in his 20s with a thin build and his face covered with a scarf or mask, entered the residence with gray rifle. He took two purses. No one was injured. The reported getaway vehicle was a white sedan with New York plates.
The police are speaking to possible suspects and are working with other municipalities, as well. No further details have been released since the investigation is ongoing, according to Fanwood Police Chief Richard Trigo.
