Ready, Set, Shop – Clark Commons Opens on Raritan Road

CLARK, NJ – Several tenants of the Clark Commons opened their doors to the public this week. Modell’s, Torrid and LA Fitness began welcoming guests while other stores held soft openings and in-store job fairs. 

Clark’s Business Administrator John Laezza said, “Most of the eateries will open by July 1st and stores will continue to open when they are completed, leading up to the official grand opening on August 7th, , after the opening of Whole Foods.”

Five years ago, Clark township sent its residents a questionnaire asking for preferences for properties, such as the location on Raritan Road behind Shop Rite and across from Hyatt Hills Golf Club. The survey, which had a high 30% response rate, indicated that citizens wanted a retail complex, not office space, parks or residential development.

Road construction around the facility has been completed.
