METUCHEN, NJ - Saint Joseph High School recently hosted a career development day. This year’s program was redesigned to allow current students and alumni to engage in even more career-focused possibilities.
The vast majority of the over 40 presenters were St. Joseph High School alumni returning to pay it back to the brotherhood each St. Joseph man belongs to long after graduation.
Prior to the event, the Alumni and Development Office and Guidance Department provided current students with tools to help them identify their strengths and career interests. Students then used this information to select presentations in the most related fields of study.
Additional alumni attended the day to seek potential career and internship possibilities at the job fair portion of the event. Employers and recruiters from eleven different industries were represented.
“One of our goals was to invite the alumni back to campus so that our connection remains strong. This experience was a phenomenal one for our current students to witness role models as they embrace their own journey to become Saint Joseph men,” said Principal Justin Fleetwood.
The brotherhood that is naturally formed at Saint Joseph High School allows each Saint Joseph man a greater path toward excellence for today and throughout his lifetime.
