SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Current and future Raiders shared the same baseball field as the Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School varsity baseball team hosted its first ever Youth Day on Thursday afternoon.

Scotch Plains-Fanwood Baseball League (SPFBL) players got to join the “big kids” – most of whom are SPFBL alumni – on the the 60-90 diamond for drills and base running practice. Aidan Luccarelli threw out the first pitch of the game, and several young players served as bat boys for the game, won by the Raiders, 6-0.
