SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Scotch Plains Business & Professional Association (SPBPA) held its annual party at Darby Road on Monday, Jan. 23. Mayor Al Smith and Councilwoman Rose Checchio were among the elected township officials to attend the event.

The SPBPA, which today has over 90 members, reinvests in our community in the following ways:

  • Networking meetings to keep the business community informed of township activities and issues.
  • Sponsoring the successful the Scotch Plains Farmers Market from May through November each year.
  • Organizing the annual Scotch Plains Holiday Celebration.
  • Running an ongoing Scholarship Fund for SPF High School graduates.
