SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- After a week of blistering heat and humidity, the area was treated to beautiful weather on Saturday, July 7, at the Scotch Plains Farmer's Market. 

Patrons were able to purchase seasonal fruits and vegetables, along with prepared foods and other items at the market. The Scotch Plains Farmers' Marketplace is managed by the Scotch Plains Business & Professional Association (SPBPA) a non-profit organization whose purpose is to assist and enhance the business community in the Township of Scotch Plains through its networking activities and community involvement.

The Scotch Plains Farmer's Market season began in May and continues every Saturday through November from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Scotch Plains Municipal Building (430 Park Ave.). is Scotch Plains-Fanwood’s only free daily paper.
