SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Scotch Plains and Fanwood said thank you to service men and women during Veterans Day observances today at the memorial in downtown Scotch Plains and at Fanwood Memorial Library.  
Participants in today's ceremonies included local dignitaries, veterans of World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam, Grenada, Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as active servicemen.
Veterans Day is marked annually on November 11th, the anniversary of the signing of the armistice that ended the World War I in 1918.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — African penguins have officially joined the giraffes, lions and hyenas in the African Adventure at the Turtle Back Zoo, bringing all of the zoo’s animals from the largest continent into the same area.

Teens Invited to Participate in Coding and Bi-Weekly After-School Club at the Scotch Plains Public Library

On Wednesday, June 13 at 6 pm, teens in grades 5-12 are invited to the Coding Club.
