SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Scotch Plains prides itself on the preservation and maintenance of its natural resources and is committed to preserving environmental integrity by planting trees and other plant life throughout the township's parks and neighborhoods.

If your property had a township tree which fell during a storm or was lost or removed due to disease or age, and you wish it to be replaced, or if you would like a tree planted in front of your house, on public property only, submit your information on the Tree Replacement Program web page.

Please note that the township's tree crew will evaluate the location and make the final decision on the appropriate tree for replacement.
