SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Scotch Plains Township Council issued a proclamation on Tuesday evening at its Council Conference Meeting recognizing the participants of Jam Kancer in the Kan and its fundraising efforts for Pediatric Cancer research.

Since the event was created in 2014 as a backyard event, the movement has now generated over $231,000 for cancer-related charities.

The mission of the Jam Kancer in the Kan Foundation Fund is to provide support to organizations that assist families who are fighting Pediatric Cancer.
