"The team moved to 12-1 during their spring season and more importantly each player continues to get better every time out on the diamond," said Coach Chris Bates. " It is definitely something we want to do annually and build on for more age groups. We just need to secure the volunteer manpower and the sky is the limit."

The Raiders Classic Memorial Day Tournament was sponsored by Grillestone and Scoops.

"This was an exciting event for our town and travel program as we look to put our fundraising focus on an annual Cooperstown trip for our 12 year old age groups," Bates added. "This was just a small sample of some of the great events we have lined up for our program and community."
