CLARK, NJ – Scotch Plains-Fanwood drivers who take the Garden State Parkway and use Terminal Ave. to connect from Westfield Ave. to Central Ave., must alter their route for approximately four weeks starting on Monday, Aug. 8, according to an alert issued by the Clark Police Department.

The intersection of Westfield Ave. and Terminal Ave. has been under construction since March 7, when work to align the roadways and create dedicated turn lanes began.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area entirely and find alternate routes to and from Central Ave. and the Garden State Parkway, according to the police department’s Facebook post.
