NEW JERSEY -- Real estate website has issued its annual rankings of the Best Public High Schools in New Jersey.

Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School came in No. 64, one notch ahead of Cranford High School. SPFHS received an overall A grade. Specifically, the grades for Scotch Plains-Fanwood were:

  • Teachers: A
  • College Prep: A
  • Clubs & Activities: A-
  • Health & Safety: A-
  • Administration: B+
  • Sports: A
  • Food: B
  • Resources & Facilities: B-

Proficient Reading: 68% 
Proficiency Math: 55% 
Graduation Rate: 96%

Several schools that are part of the Union County VoTech complex on Raritan Road in Scotch Plains, were listed in the Top 20. Union County Magnet High School, was ranked No. 3, followed by the Academy for Allied Health Sciences (No. 9), the Academy for Information Technology (No. 12), Union County Vocational-Technical High School (No. 36), and the Academy for Performing Arts (No. 57). 

Other nearby high schools in the Top 100 were Westfield (No. 35), Gov. Livingston (No. 47), and New Providence (No. 79).

Earlier this month, ranked the SPFK12 School District No. 35 in the state.
