Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School to Compete in 34th Annual Marching Music Festival and Marching Band Competition Oct. 3


SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - The 34th Annual South Plainfield High School (SPHS) Music Festival/Marching Band Competition will take place Saturday, Oct. 3 at 4:00 p.m. at Frank Jost Field. At this time, South Plainfield will welcome bands from neighboring communities to perform and compete.

The 34th Annual South Plainfield High School Music Festival/Marching Band Competition will begin with a clinic at 4:00 p.m. with the competition slated to start at 6 p.m. Marching bands from Long Branch High School, North Brunswick High School, North Plainfield High School, Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School and Verona High School are scheduled to participate.

Tickets are $8 for adults; $4 for students and seniors. There will be food available for purchase. In the event of inclement weather, the festival and competition will be held in the South Plainfield High School gym.
