SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - A dozen of Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School's most eligible bachelors will strut their stuff for a great cause in the annual Mr. Spiffy High contest on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015. Only one will walk away with the crown and scepter as Mr. Spiffy.

The 2015 participants are:

  1. Josh Axelrod
  2. Joey Buttigheri
  3. Sean Cheney
  4. Dan Dawson
  5. Julian Korduba
  6. Jake Longo
  7. Giancarlo Lorusso
  8. Tyler O'Brien
  9. Sagu Patel
  10. Jashmar Philippe
  11. George Ramos
  12. Josh Widman

The contest features tuxedo modeling, a brief Q&A session, talent competition, and SPFHS trivia knowledge. Four contestants advance to the final round, a trivia contest, after which one of the 12 will be crowned Mr. Spiffy!

Organized by Marjorie FitzGibbon, DECA advisor and marketing teacher at the high school, the event will raise funds for the Plainfield Area Humane Society. Last year's Mr. Spiffy High contest was won by Billy Wilkins. Proceeds from the 2014 event helped raise funds for SPFHS grad Jake Wustefeld to help offset medical treatment for a rare form of cancer.
