Scotch Plains-Fanwood Rotary Club Honored at Scotch Plains Council Meeting

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Rotary Club was honored at the Scotch Plains Township Council meeting last Tuesday for winning the Governor's Award as the best Rotary Club in the State. 

Pictured with Mayor Al Smith are Steve Goldberg, President of the Fanwood-Scotch Plains Rotary Club, and Carmela Resnick, the organization's Immediate Past President.

The Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. at the Stage House Restaurant. On the last Wednesday of the month, there is an informal fellowship meeting for those who aren’t able to volunteer at Mobile Meals. Guests are invited to join the club for lunch, and learn about the good works that Rotary is doing worldwide. is Scotch Plains-Fanwood’s only free daily paper.
