SCOTCH PLAINS-FANWOOD, NJ -- The 10U Raiders Baseball team won the Spring Classic Tournament in Branchburg at picturesque White Oak Park on Saturday, April 17.

The Raiders faced off with the CK Cardinals a club program out of Monmouth County in the tournament championship game. The Raiders pitched a shutout in the championship game defeating the Cardinals 11-0. Cole Webster led then way on the mound for the Raiders by striking out 8 would be Cardinal batters.

The Raiders offense broke open a pitchers duel in the 3rd inning to take a commanding 4-0 lead with RBI's from Lucas Bolton, 2 by Will Frey and a 2-out RBI by Brayden Bates.

All players contributed throughout the tournament with each player playing at least 2-3 different positions for skill development.
