SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Inspired by loved ones, the SPFSA U13 boys soccer teams Ronaldo and Gerard have embraced this cause with true warrior spirit.

Playing with their pink socks as a visual reminder of their cause and a sign of their support, the boys march onto the field this month with purpose. While they battle their rivals on the pitch, they know there are others battling for their lives.

Throughout October, the Boys have been raising money to fight breast cancer with every goal they score; they are Kicking for a Cure. United in their desire to kick cancer to the bench, the boys have embraced the challenge.
