SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ - Scotch Plains-Fanwood's entries in the 7U, 8U and 9U youth summer travel baseball leagues in the New Providence Green League have played the first two weeks of their seasons.

The 9U team has a 4-2 record. All 13 players on the roster have had a chance to pitch, and the team has played notably strong defense so far, while scoring 67 runs in just six games.

The 8U team also has a 4-2 record in the NPGL.  Eight of the 11 players have taken the mound so far. 

The 7U team is 2-3.  Nine of the 12 roster members have pitched so far. Two of their three losses were by one run apiece.
