SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Friends of Billy Hannam, a 2008 graduate of Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, have taken to social media in efforts to find him.

According to a Facebook post by Janet Dillon of Plainfield, Hannam has been missing for four days. Ms. Dillon, who described him as her "son-of-the-heart" in her post, commented that he has been living with her in Plainfield and that she had last seen him on Friday. She asks that anyone who sees him to contact her.

The police have been notified. On the basis of the ominous note he left, he is in trouble. He was last at my house in Plainfield on Friday morning. Please, if anyone sees him anywhere, contact me asap.
