SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Members of the Scotch Plains PBA Local 87 presented a check for $500 to support "Pig Gig V," which takes place this Sunday, Nov. 10, at the Italian American Club ( to benefit The Fibrolamellar Cancer Foundation.
The event is organized by Glenn Alexander, a Scotch Plains-based musician and a touring member of Southside Johnny's Asbury Jukes, in honor of his late nephew, Jay Alexander, who lost his battle to the deadly disease in 2011.
The day of food, fun and music, with performances by Chris Koch, The Lonesome Pines, Adam Ezra, Glenn Alexander's Shadowland and special guest, the legendary Southside Johnny!
