Tutor.com is an online resource available to Scotch Plains and Fanwood cardholders that provides one-on-one homework help from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., 7 days a week. It also provides test prep resources, college essay feedback, and job search assistance.

New features have been added that will give students even more ways to access homework help and test preparation. Students are now able to submit drop-off math questions outside of the live tutoring hours to get feedback within 24 hours. Additional practice tests for the ACT have been added, and Princeton Review practice tests have been added for the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, and MCAT. A practice quiz for the ASVAB will be coming soon.

Tutor.com is one of several online resources that the Scotch Plains Public library offers to enhance lifelong learning for cardholders. LearningExpress Library offers homework help, test prep, and career prep. Lynda.com is a collection of self-paced video courses in business, tech, and creative skills. The Great Courses can be accessed through either RBdigital or Kanopy with video lectures on literature, philosophy, history, genealogy, and more. Mango and Rosetta Stone provide lessons in many foreign languages, including English. Creativebug lets you nurture your creative side with a variety of self-paced art & craft video classes.

All of these resources can be accessed via www.scotlib.org/learning. Please contact the library at 908-322-5007 or library@scotlib.org with any questions.
