SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ – Although it was an extremely hot and muggy day, the Scotch Plains Raiders took the field looking like they were ready for anything, even meeting Governor Livingston High School head on.

However, the first two quarters passed without Scotch Plains scoring any touchdowns.  James Lettieri was called into the game with the score 13-0 , after Ryan Jennings of Governor Livingston had scored two goals.

In a surprise finish, the game ended with a score of 20-13, after Scotch Plains made a final touchdown, but missed the field goal.
