SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Scotch Plains Recreation Commission is pleased to once again offer member registration and renewal online. Simply go to www.scotchplainsnj.gov, and click the “Community Pass” link on the left side of the homepage.

If you registered last year, you should have a Community Pass account already. If you need to obtain your username or password, there is an option on the Community Pass homepage to reset either one. The online registration accepts both MasterCard and Visa for your convenience.

Rates will not change after March 1st, as they have in the past. Scotch Hills still remains one of the least expensive nine-hole courses in New Jersey. The Recreation Commission and Department take much pride in maintaining the family appeal that the course represents. The eye-catching condition of the course is due to the hard work and dedication of the golf maintenance staff.

The gold course has actually lowered rates across the board and created a Family Membership option which breaks down as follows: any family made up of two or more members who are signing up at the same time will see a five-dollar discount on each membership.

Throughout 2017, the Scotch Hills Golf Course staff has several events planned just for members only. Some of them include: free lessons with golf pro, Bill McCluney, membership appreciation activities, monthly specials & more. Additionally, each month the golf course will publish a calendar of events, which will include some of what we mentioned above as well as other events to be announced. Check out the township’s website www.scotchplainsnj.gov, monthly to find out what’s going on at Scotch Hills.

The golf course is scheduled to open on Sunday, March 15, weather permitting. If in fact the course does open on or about that date, please understand that electric golf carts may not be permitted due to wet conditions.
