Scotch Plains Rescue Squad Hosts Annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, March 26

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Scotch Plains Rescue Squad (1916 Bartle Avenue, Scotch Plains) will host its 8th annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, March 26, from from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The cost is $5.00 per person – all you can eat. Get a picture taken with your family, enter at a chance to win raffle baskets, and enjoy a warm breakfast with your neighbors and friends.

100% of proceeds will be used to keep the rescue squad functioning as a volunteer organization. The Scotch Plains Rescue Squad has remained a volunteer organization and has served the community for 80 years. The members dedicate their time to helping their fellow neighbors.

The Squad welcomes new members as well as those interested in contributing time and talent to support the organization. Individuals can apply for membership at 18 years of age or serve as a cadet at age 16. Those ages 14 or older can serve on the Scotch Plains Rescue Squad Auxiliary. For more information about becoming a Scotch Plains EMT, auxiliary member, volunteer, or to make a donation, contact or call (908) 322-2103 any week night between 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.

The Scotch Plains Rescue Squad has many services available for those in the community with need. Hospital equipment, such as wheelchairs, canes and crutches are available for use, free of charge. The squad relies on ongoing community support and contributions enable the volunteers of the squad to fulfill their motto, Neighbors Helping Neighbors. We Work For Pride Not Pay.
