Scotch Plains Welcomes Holiday Season with Downtown Celebration on Dec. 3

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Township of Scotch Plains, along with the Scotch Plains Business and Professional Association, invites residents to its annual hometown holiday celebration on Sunday, Dec. 3, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.  The event features horse drawn carriage rides, a petting zoo, visits with Santa, hot chocolate and donuts, cookie decorating, face painting and more! 

Santa will arrive at 3:00 p.m and much go back to the North Pole at 5:00 p.m. after he lights the town tree. There will also be information available on the 2nd Annual House Decorating Contest, sponsored by the Scotch Plains Recreation Commission.

Admission is free. Please support local food banks by donating nonperishable food items to the Food Collection Sleigh at the event.
